PD-LD Inc. offers volume Bragg gratings (VBGs) for high-power laser applications. VBGs allow laser users to lock diode lasers to less than .5-nm FWHM. They also provide thermal stability better than .01 nm/oC.

The gratings are manufactured in a variety of standard and custom wavelengths. Applications include stabilization of diode-pumped solid-state and fiber lasers, Raman spectroscopy and the stabilization of pump lasers in display technology.

PD-LD provides these gratings in a variety of configurations either as stand-alone elements, attached to existing lasers or packaged with its lasers.

This year at Photonics West, PD-LD  is also exhibiting its Raman Boxx, built around  its VGB technology. Designed primarily for users who need a high-power laser at 785 nm, the Boxx is temperature-stabilized and has an integrated control board and cooling. PD-LD will provide the Raman Boxx in a variety of configurations and wavelengths.
