The compact ILP LED coaxial illumination system from Volpi USA provides stable and homogeneous light output over a 0.7 × 0.7-in. area, with a working distance of 0.6 to 1.4 in. Available with either red or white LEDs, the device features a one-piece optical unit for enhanced performance and dust resistance. It is suitable for flaw detection, identification and optical character recognition, and for applications where space is a concern. Volpi’s standard coaxial illumination systems provide light output at 1 × 1, 2 × 2, 3 × 3 and 4 × 4 in., with custom sizes also available.
