For transmission and noncontact surface testing of optics, for aligning of optical components and assemblies, and for OEM metrology integrated systems applications, Engineering Synthesis Design Inc. (ESDI) has unveiled the Intellium Z100 HR 100-mm Fizeau interferometer. Its high-resolution camera has a 2048 × 1536 array of pixels for measuring large slope angles in transmission and reflection. IntelliPhase static spatial carrier analysis, a feature of the included IntelliWave software, supports vibration-insensitive data acquisition. The instrument offers 560-fringe resolution, 10-bit digitization and 600-ms acquisition time. Operating temperature range is from 15 to 30 °C.
