It features a more ergonomic shape and a 78 × 58-mm LCD screen that is twice the size of its predecessor’s. Its transfer rate is 20 times faster, and it can read high-repetition-rate energy detectors (with metal absorbers) up to 3 kHz. The meter’s thermal head power range is 100 μW to 10 kW and photodetector head, 4 pW to 3 W. Its energy range is 0.1 μJ to 20 kJ.
