Antireflection coatings for astronomical optics are being offered by Spectrum Thin Films Corp. The coatings can withstand low temperatures and maximum heat of 100 °C. Created with pulsed ion beam technology, the films have a reflectance of <1%, with an average of 0.7% from 360 to 1050 nm. The dense, stable films can be cleaned with acetone and alcohol and are designed for CCD, visual and detectors imaging.
