Version 6.4.3 of the Oslo optical design software has been released by Lambda Research Corp. It features 18 modifications, including a command that accesses and copies any Oslo plot or graphic to the Windows clipboard as a bitmap, and an updated modulation transfer function that analyzes both X- and Y-field data points, allowing users to model general anamorphic surface shapes without the control problems associated with spline surfaces. The software recognizes whether multiple interferometer files contain wavefront, surface or filter data and provides feedback regarding the source and type of errors added to optical surfaces in a design.
