The Optomoscope M2 from Heliotis Inc. is an optical tomographic microscope based on parallel optical low-coherence tomography. It captures full 3-D images in real time. The optical arrangement enables sharp, in-focus images independent of depth range. The small measurement head and rugged construction are suitable for integration into automated systems for the inspection of micro-optical components, joints and adhesive bonds, SMD boards and die and wire bonds, and micromechanical pieces and injection-molded parts. Applications include online monitoring of adhesive dispensing and volumetric measurement in laboratory automation. The OCT viewer 2.2 software enables data export to Matlab and 3-D visualization programs.
