The OmniDriver spectroscopy development platform from Ocean Optics Inc. enables control of USB spectrometers and accessories as well as devices in optical sensing systems for spectral processing and for data acquisition, analysis, visualization and transfer. The platform is compatible with all USB devices because it operates via the Java computer language, and users do not need to learn Java because the platform includes wrapper libraries for several versions of Windows, Macintosh and Linux. The platform performs submicrosecond time stamping for applications such as chemical kinetics. An optional module provides comprehensive spectral processing.
