The Elk 6605, Elk Industries Inc.'s high-power visible diode laser system, has been designed for a wide variety of applications where a compact, robust, high-power visible laser is needed. A rugged unit with shock resistance to more than 8 g, the Elk 6605 weighs less than 3 lb. Its power consumption is 18 W with an input of 12 to 15 VDC. The laser has a linewidth of 3 nm and an output power of 500 mW CW.
