Avantes BV offers three AvaFast preconfigured spectrometers as stock items, all of which feature a USB 2.0 interface, a 16-bit A/D converter and an SMA 905 connector. For use in the UV/VIS/NIR, in the 200- to 1100-nm range, the AvaSpec 3648-UA-25-AF has a 25-μm slit and 1.4-nm resolution for measurements from high-intensity sources, and AvaSpec 2048-UA-50-AF has a 50-μm slit and 2.4-nm resolution for absorbance, emission and irradiance measurements. For use in the VIS/NIR, in the 360- to 1100-nm range, the AvaSpec 2048-VA-200-AF has a 200-μm slit and 8-nm resolution for high-sensitivity applications such as fluorescence. The resolutions are at full width half maximum.
