The RMP-300 series portable Raman spectrometer systems unveiled by Jasco Inc. feature an integrated fiber optic probe with a small X-Y-Z stage, a compact laser, a high-throughput spectrograph and a CCD detector. The optical fiber coupling enables remote measurements by locating the probe at the sample. The RMP-310’s wave number range is 200 to 3200 cm–1; for the RMP-315, 200 to 3500 cm–1. The RMP-310 features a 532-nm green laser for analyzing Raman samples, and it produces resolution of 3 cm–1. The RMP-315 has a 785-nm laser for deep-red excitation of strongly fluorescing samples. The RMP-320 and -325 models have wave number scanning ranges from 100 to 8000 cm–1 and 100 to 3500 cm–1, respectively. The RMP-330 and -335 research-grade models employ a monochromator with a focal length of 300 mm.
