Berkeley Nucleonics Corp. has released a complementary National Instruments-certified Universal LabView driver that controls its digital delay pulse generator models 505, 565 and 575, which use LabView software versions 8.5 and 8.0. The functionality of the generators offers various configuration possibilities, eliminating the time and effort that would be required for defining programming combinations. The approach provides ready-made examples for most common operations. The three-tier design enhances the intuitive hierarchy, the drag/drop methodology and the protected data spaces. Custom code can be developed quickly. The driver communicates via RS-232, GPIB, Ethernet and USB without the need for additional code changes.
