The device provides up to 40 dB of noise reduction with 11 damping layers that ensure noise loss over a broad spectrum. It offers a removable back panel for easy installation and service and a door catch for added safety. The enclosure is customizable, with options including shelves and mounts, electromagnetic interference shielding, an automated door and a NanoDamp frame.

That branch of spectroscopy concerned with Raman spectra and used to provide a means of studying pure rotational, pure vibrational and rotation-vibration energy changes in the ground level of molecules. Raman spectroscopy is dependent on the collision of incident light quanta with the molecule, inducing the molecule to undergo the change.
