Request InfoThorlabs Inc.An adaptive optics toolkit that allows for the quick installation of optics into research systems has been released by Thorlabs Inc. and Boston Micromachines Corp. The kit includes a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor with a USB 2.0 1.3-megapixel CCD camera, a Multi-DM deformable-mirror system that features 140 electrostatic actuators, each of which can be individually controlled, and software designed to minimize wavefront distortion. The control software also allows the monitoring of wavefront corrections and intensity distribution in real time.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jul/Aug 2023 IssueVCSEL Laser DiodeThe single-mode 850-nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) diode from IMM Photonics GmbH is contained in a compact TO46 housing.
