Complete Inspection Systems Inc. has launched Multicheck, a quality assurance and inspection system that can verify 100% of the copy and graphics on labels, cartons and other materials by performing image and text comparisons, by reading and verifying bar codes and by performing optical character recognition on documents and on applications with variable information, such as clinical trial labels. Its database enables master documents to be cataloged, with their inspection types and zones already set. It includes a computer and an imaging workstation with a 12-megapixel camera and a software suite. Under uniform lighting conditions, the system captures high-resolution shadow-free images of objects measuring up to 17 × 23 in. in diameter.
