Interferometric Optics N-slit laser interferometer has applications in microscopy and microdensitometry, and in the assessment of transmission gratings. Based on multiple-prism beam expansion and on digital detection technology, the device allows for the rapid interferometric characterization of transmission optical surfaces in general — an advance over traditional point-by-point incoherent microscopes and microdensitometers. Specific applications include the rapid characterization of molecular imaging surfaces, biomedical and organic molecular arrays, and arrays of microholes and/or micronozzles. Models are available in 543-, 594- and 632-nm wavelengths (approximate values).
