NEW LONDON, N.H, July 25, 2008 – Remote sensing targets for the visible and near-infrared are now available from Avian Technologies.

Avian-Targets.jpgThe company used a modification of its Avian-D coating technology and a highly stable tinting system to create the targets. They range in reflectance from nominally 5 percent R up to nominal 96 percent R and are spectrally flat from 300 to 1800 nm. Standard sizes include 24 inch, 36 inch or 48 inch-squares with custom sizes available. They may be touched-up on site if soiled, and can be recoated if badly damaged.

The targets can be used for laser range-finding in harsh conditions and for remote sensing applications.
