Edmund Optics Inc. has released three spectrum-stabilized fiber-coupled laser systems for Raman spectroscopy. They offer 450 mW of power at wavelengths of 785, 808 and 976 nm. The laser and driver are enclosed in a rugged self-contained package measuring 265 × 155 × 100 mm, and expected lifetime is longer than 10,000 h. The systems incorporate a thermoelectric cooler and controller, and digital on/off modulation.
