SALISBURY, UK, Sept. 18, 2008 – NanoSight Ltd. has added a temperature control to its family of nanoparticle characterization instrumentation.

NanoSight-temp-control.jpgThe temperature-controlled stage operates from five degrees below ambient to 50 °C and it may be retrofitted to the company’s LM20 instrument. It also operates at mammalian body temperatures, for life science users, or it can maintain 25 °C, the standard temperature for readily-available viscosity data, for users working in solvents.

It also features accuracy to a level of ± 1 °C, and it is controlled directly from the system’s software. The system is suitable for biological and materials sciences applications.
