IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 23, 2008 – The SmartTable OTS optical table system from Newport Corp. is suitable for a range of applications, including laser microscopy, optical trapping, carrier-envelope phase studies and STED imaging.

The vibration isolation system combines the performance and value of the company’s patented SmartTable optical table family with an isolation platform that features integrated accessories to increase comfort, laboratory space, organization and safety.

Newport-Smart-Table-OTS.jpgThe platform integrates the company’s I-1250 pneumatic isolator with a rigid frame design. It is field upgradeable with four levels of table performance and three isolation options.

It also features dimensions of 8.5 W x 12 L x 4 H in., a bandwidth of 10 to 820 Hz for monitoring vibration and a bandwidth of 80 to 400 Hz for structural damping. It offers standard features, including leveling feet, SafeLock mounting brackets, alpha-numeric grid markings and heady load casters.
