Holo/Or Ltd. has released it series of Hexagonal six- and seven-spot elements suitable for many applications. The seven-spot version of the point generator for 1064 nm offers a high transmission efficiency of ~95 per cent, a high diffraction efficiency of ~75 per cent and a high damage threshold. It is insensitive to misalignment and beam wandering. Suitable for single- and multimode lasers, it has a diameter of 25.4 mm and is 3 mm thick. It has optional Ar/Ar coating and is made of pure fused silica.
