Coherent.jpgThe laser combines a wide tuning range, power, pointing stability and a small footprint to, according to the company, deliver state-of-the-art image quality and superior ease of use. It can correct for large group velocity dispersion (GVD) found in microscopes with highly dispersive elements and for maximum flexibility, the GVD compensation is fully adjustable across the entire range.

It has an extended wavelength tuning range from 680 to 1080 nm to enable optimum excitation of red fluorophore and has an output power > 2.5 W which can be optimized for both shallow and deep tissue imaging.
