Request InfoMKS/NewportIrvine, Calif., Feb. 17, 2009 – Newport Corp. has expanded its optical power meter and detector family with the introduction of the 1928-C single-channel benchtop optical meter. The compact power meter interfaces with all of the company’s photodiode detectors, thermopiles and pyroelectric detectors. It measures from 11 pW to 20 kW of optical power and from 7 µJ to 20 kJ of pulse energy. The fast 100-kHz sampling rate ensures that the pulse measurements are accurate and that any fluctuations in the continuous-wave power are not ignored. It incorporates various filtering to make the reading more stable. Advanced features...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 8/24/2022Ethylene Oxide Monitoring SystemThe Ambient Air Monitoring System for Ethylene Oxide (EtO) has been announced by Picarro Inc., providing a continuous, automated solution for community monitoring stations and industrial fencelines....Photonics Spectra December 2022 IssueSilicon Photodiode ChipsThe VTH21 series of photodiodes from Excelitas Technologies Corp. are low-capacitance silicon photodiode chips for radon gas detection.
