JAI has added a 16-megapixel CCD camera to its C3 camera suite. The progressive-scan device is available in two models: the AM-1600CL (monochrome) and the AB-1600CL (raw Bayer color). Both versions have Camera Link interfaces that allow users to choose 8-, 10- or 12-bit output. Applications include biometrics, 3-D metrology and microscopy.
