XenICs.jpgXenICs has introduced the Gobi-384, an uncooled microbolometer camera for thermal imaging, industrial, public service and security applications. The smart infrared camera combines a high-quality camera head including a lens with onboard DSP-based control and communication, TCP/IP and Camera Link, processing power for intelligent real-time image correction and recognition, and a video interface. It delivers 384 × 288 pixels on a 25-μm-pixel pitch. It also features pixel operability of >99.9 per cent and covers the long-wavelength infrared area of 8 to 14 μm. It is user-programmable and available as an OEM module.
