Ocean Optics has unveiled the NeoFox phase measurement system for fluorescence-based optical sensing. The benchtop device measures fluorescence lifetime, phase and intensity. Designed for applications that require system stability and sensitivity to drift, it is useful for oxygen and pH measurement in medical diagnostics, environmental applications, food and beverage quality assurance, and gas monitoring. Features include response times of <1 s in gas and ~45 s in pure water, a temperature range from 0 to 60 °C for patches and a minimum detectable level from 100 to 500 ppm.
