High-sensitivity UV-enhanced photodiodes from Detection Technology Inc. are designed for spectroscopy, photometry, fluorescence analysis, and UV intensity and exposure metering. A UV-enhanced diode structure and special window entrance processing provide a spectral response in the 190- to 400-nm region. The sensitive spectral range covers the region from 190 to 1100 nm. Active area sizes of 2.4 x 2.4 mm, 5.8 x 5.8 mm and 10 x 10 mm are available. The photodiodes are housed in metal TO or ceramic LCC packages.
