Request InfoTC Communications Inc.TC Communications Inc. has unveiled its TC8000X, a 4- to 24-channel analog/intercom fiber optic multiplexer that supports voice bandwidths from 300 to 3400 Hz. It provides intercom and analog interfaces in four-channel increments; the intercom interface is for four-wire voice communication, and the analog is 600-(omega) transformer-coupled. The multiplexer digitizes the analog and voice signals so that voice quality does not degrade. Distances to 30 km are typical over single-mode fiber and 4 km over multimode fiber.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 4/1/2024Compact ROADMThe DCP-R-34D-CS from Smartoptics is a compact reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) for larger fiber optic networks.
