The Laser TIRF (total internal reflection fluorescence) 3 microscope system introduced by Carl Zeiss Ltd. enables scientists to visualize near-cell membrane dynamic processes while maintaining optimum specimen incubation conditions. They also can observe single-molecule dynamics in cell-free systems. The system can be equipped with up to four solid-state lasers, is acousto-optical tunable filter-controlled and can be operated entirely from the AxioVision software interface. The TIRF slider is available in a manual version or in a fully motorized software-controllable one.
