DATA TRANSFER
Matrox ImagingRequest Info
Matrox Imaging has announced that its Genesis scalable vision processors and Genesis-LC frame grabbers support the low voltage differential signaling standard (LVDS) for interfacing to digital output cameras, providing faster data transfer rates from camera to PC than is possible with the RS-422 digital signaling standard. LVDS also allows the use of longer cables. Image data transfer is up to 40 MHz x 32 bits wide. Both boards will continue to support the RS-422 and TTL standards.
