The CCX-V11 Thumb-Cam from Sony Electronics Inc. is a high-resolution compact video camera head unit for space-critical scientific, educational, research and analysis applications. At 30 g, the unit measures 22 x18 x 60 mm and has a 1/4-in. color CCD Iris chip. It features 410,000 pixels and 470 lines of resolution, and automatic gain control to compensate for varying light levels. Available in NTSC or PAL format, the camera can be powered by an AC adapter or InfoLithium battery.
