The miniaturized external cavity laser is tunable over the entire C-band at a rate of up to 100 nm/s. Power ranges from 3 to 10 mW, accuracy is ±5%, spectral linewidth is 1.5 MHz, and side mode suppression ratio is from 43 to 50 dB. The laser is driven by a circuit designed for low noise and highly linear sweep performance, appropriate for fiber optic test, measurement and sensing applications.
