The DiViiNA family of CCD line-scan cameras for industrial inspection applications has been launched by e2v. It has 1024-, 2048- and 4096-pixel sensors that run at 40 MHz and output 8 bits on a Camera Link interface. Featuring a data rate of 40 megapixels per second on two taps and an antiblooming function, the camera is fully configurable with CommCam software. Applications include general machine vision; parts inspection; sorting of cotton, rice and food; and web inspection of wood, paper and metals.
