The Raman Discovery compact lightweight multichannel imaging spectrometers for OEMs and system integrators are designed for applications in harsh imaging environments. Available from Headwall Photonics Inc., they offer low image distortion over the full CCD array, which yields high signal-to-noise efficiency and signal throughput. The 532 model operates in the ~540- to 660-nm spectral range, and it delivers <0.36-nm spectral FWHM resolution. The 785 model, in the ~785- to 931-nm range, offers <0.68-nm FWHM spectral resolution. Both models feature spatial FWHM resolution of three pixels, spatial 20% of peak full-width resolution of four pixels, and horizontal row deviation (spectral) and vertical column deviation (spatial) of one pixel. A 3-mm-tall entrance aperture accepts individual fibers or bundles.
