Dilas Diode Laser Inc. has added the 1470-nm single-wavelength, fiber-coupled module to its family of conduction-cooled modules. Suitable for medical applications, the module has power levels of 12, 40 and 80 W, based on single-bar or multibar fiber-coupled diode laser modules. It has fiber coupling as small as 400 μm with a 0.22 NA. Sealed housing, provided with a standard SMA 905 fiber connector, protects the diode laser bar and its optics against contamination and damage. It comes with an integrated pilot beam, power meter and temperature sensors.
