Request InfoPicoQuant GmbHBERLIN, Aug. 11, 2009 – PicoQuant GmbH has extended the number of available wavelengths of its picosecond pulsed diode lasers with the release of a laser head at 450 nm and an improved laser head at 635 nm. Both can be controlled by the established laser drivers of the PDL series. The 450-nm center wavelength model features pulse widths of <70 ps full width half maximum and an average output power of 0.7 mW at a repetition rate from single-shot to 40 MHz. Pulse widths of <300 ps full width half maximum are reached at average power of 5 mW. It is available in a dual-mode version that enables picosecond...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jan/Feb 2023 IssueSemiconductor Laser DiodeThe Metal Can PLT5 522FA_P-M12 from ams-OSRAM AG is an off-the-shelf semiconductor laser emitter with a 514-nm wavelength output required by many life science, R&D, and diagnostics applications....Promoted Content September 2022 IssueSL160 Slide LoaderThe SL160 automated microscope slide loader combines reliability and high capacity with easy set up to provide automated slide scanning to a wide variety of existing upright microscopes or with the...BioPhotonics Jan/Feb 2024 IssueLaser Scanning MicroscopesEvident’s FLUOVIEW™ FV4000 confocal laser scanning microscope and FV4000MPE multiphoton laser scanning microscope, feature advancements in imaging technology that empower researchers to...BioPhotonics May/Jun 2023 IssueTunable Laser SystemThe Tunable Laser System from Spectrolight Inc. is an all-in-one tunable light source system that enables precise selection of a broad spectral range from 410 to 1650 nm and easy bandwidth adjustment...ARTICLESPhotonics.com 12/7/2022SPIE Reveals 2023 Startup Challenge FinalistsTen early-stage startup companies from six countries have been selected to compete for a top prize of $10,000 at the 13th annual SPIE Startup Challenge, to be held during Photonics West Jan. 31,...BioPhotonics.com March 2024 IssuePhotoacoustic Device Probes Tissue with Low-Cost Laser DiodesPhotoacoustic (PA) technologies offer a noninvasive approach to probing biological tissues, but have seen limited use in clinical applications, partially due to bulky, expensive laser sources.
