Dalsa Corp. has extended its line of GigE Vision-compliant cameras to include the Genie HM1400-XDR (extended dynamic range). The camera offers a proprietary high-quality, high-sensitivity image sensor and is designed for digital image capture in medical x-ray and three-dimensional laser profiling where light sensitivity is not a factor. It captures image data at speeds of up to 64 fps in full 1400 × 1024-pixel resolution and offers a global electronic shutter with exposure control and onboard flat-field correction to produce crisp, clear images. It integrates advanced camera and board image acquisition technologies in one small package, and it is supported by the company’s Sapera Essential software and its Genie Framework package.
