The GP2000 X series and the GP3000 cryogenic gas purifiers from Oxford Lasers Ltd. are designed to preserve optimum las-er performance, to extend effective laser life and to improve cost-effectiveness for most types of excimer lasers. The devices consist of a variable-temperature cryogenic trap with an integral gas circulator. By regulating the temperature of the purifier, unwanted impurity species that build up during operation can be frozen out. The purifier can also freeze out any unwanted contaminants brought in with the initial fill gases.
