Analog Modules Inc. has introduced the Model 8261 solid-state Pockels cell driver, designed to provide high pulse-repetition frequencies and high-voltage pulses for Q-switching of high average power solid-state lasers. The 5.5-kV maximum pulse amplitude and fast transition times make the driver suitable for many beta-barium borate applications. The Model 8261, which has an internal power supply, measures 4.2 x 3.15 x 0.65 in. It has a rugged, surface-mount construction for OEM Q-switch driver application requirements.
