Two multiaxis stages for superresolution microscopy applications are now available from PI (Physik Instrumente) LP. Providing accurate motion with subnanometer resolution over travel ranges of 200 µm in XY and XYZ, the nano1x3 series stages are designed for inverted microscopes from Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Carl Zeiss. Their large apertures accommodate microscopy accessories, including slide holders and petri dish holders. An optional 25 x 25-mm positioning stage serves as a stable basis for the piezo stage.
