Andor Technology
A stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy (STORM) approach uses an iXonEM+ electron-multiplying CCD camera from Andor Technology and an inverted microscope from Olympus to resolve cellular structures with nanometer precision. Having a lateral (XY) resolution of 20 to 30 nm and axial (Z) resolution of 50 to 60 nm, along with a camera sensitive enough to detect single molecules, the STORM technology helps researchers see the 3-D relationship between mitochondria and microtubules. The ultrasensitive high-speed camera uses sequential imaging of single photoactivatable fluorophore molecules...See full product
