The design of the new version, called the DL 100/pro, enables external cavity diode lasers that are stable against acoustical, mechanical and thermal disturbances. It allows easy coarse tuning across the complete gain spectrum of the integrated laser diode, making it suitable for Bose-Einstein condensation and quantum coupling experiments.
