The Super Gamut UV-NIR series spectrometers manufactured by BaySpec Inc. use a concave holographic diffraction grating as the dispersion element and an ultrasensitive thermoelectrically cooled CCD array detector as the detection element, thereby providing high-speed parallel processing and continuous spectrum measurements. The detectable wavelength range is 190 to 1080 nm. Resolution is ~1 to 20 nm, slit-dependent, and the signal-to-noise ratio is 6000:1. Stray light is 0.05%, and integration time is from 20 ns to 300 s. The spectrometers measure 94 x 154 x 50 mm and weigh 750 g. The detector array has 2048 x 64 active pixels and is powered through USB. A 16-bit analog-to-digital converter is included.
