Mightex Systems has released a series of color
and monochrome CMOS cameras for industrial and scientific applications, such as
microscopy and biomedical imaging. The MCN-B013-U and MCN-C013-U are, respectively,
monochrome and color versions of a USB 2.0 camera with a 1.3-megapixel CMOS chip
and a C-mount. They provide frame rates of 24 fps at full resolution and of 600
fps using region-of-interest mode. The MCN-C030-U is a 3-megapixel CMOS color camera
that provides a frame rate of 8 to 600 fps. The series also includes cameras with
built-in multichannel LED drivers that are designed to allow the attachment of various
types of LED lighting devices.
