The NSC0905 megapixel 1-in. Magic CMOS sensor from New Imaging Technologies is designed for high-performance intensified night vision applications. With a 10.6-μm pixel pitch and 1280 x 1024 effective pixels, it matches to an 18-mm standard image intensifier tube output. It offers a high fill factor of >70% and the possibility of taperless 1:1 coupling to an 18-mm IL tube. It delivers fully contrast-conserving image sensing over a large dynamic range without saturation or contrast losses and without the need for external control. The sensor outputs a direct analog differential video signal. It operates at 75 MHz in three scanning modes: high-definition, binning and zoom. Maximum frame rate is 50 Hz in high definition and >150 Hz in binning and zoom. It is available in chip-on-board or ceramic packages.
