WOKING, England, Nov. 10, 2010 — Vision Engineering Ltd. has added two Common Main Objective (CMO) stereo zoom microscopes, the SX80 and SX100, to its range of optical inspection solutions.
Providing up to 256× magnification with an 8:1 zoom ratio, the SX80 is suitable for use in applications with extra long working distances, making dissecting samples easier, with the additional space under the objective.
The SX100 provides a 10:1 zoom ratio with up to 320× magnification and offers a coarse and fine focus adjustment option, allowing users to adjust the optical view until it is refined enough to inspect, essential for small samples.
Both instruments are modular and can be accessorised with digital image capture and polarization sets. A variety of stands, including a bench and boom stand, make these microscopes easily adapted to a range of working environments.
The SX80 provides working distances of 32.5, 78, and 130 mm and has a compact modular design that allows accessories to be added to the configuration, without loss of contrast or clarity. The SX100 offers the same working distances.
Both provide a 20° observation tube inclination, a 55- to 75-mm interpupillary distance and plan achromatic objectives.
