Lumex Inc. has expanded its line of light-emitting diode light bar products to more than 70 parts numbers in eight basic package styles. The devices use LED chips with a molded reflector lightguide, carrier PC board and cast epoxy lenses. The chips produce uniformly lit displays in red, green, yellow, amber, blue or white, and multisegment units can display different colors in each segment. The light bars are suitable for applications such as bar indicators, small graphics, logo illumination and ladder indicators.
