Request InfoProcess Sensors Corp., IR Temperature Div.MILFORD, Mass., Aug. 19, 2011 — Process Sensors Corp. has added the improved high-accuracy, low-temperature Metis Model MB35 sensor series to its line of precision noncontact infrared pyrometers. With an operating temperature range starting at 35 °C, the pyrometers use a lead selenide detector with filtered spectral response from 2 to 5 µm. Applications include CO2 laser heating, composites and metal surfaces above 35 °C. The emissivity of metallic surfaces decreases with shorter wavelengths, so the devices offer better performance than those with a longer-wavelength response, according to the company....See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 2/6/2024Laser Energy DetectorThe QE195LP-S-MB from Gentec-EO is a pyroelectric laser energy detector specifically made to measure lasers with extra wide beams in applications such as advanced materials research and processing,...Photonics Spectra September 2023 IssueMultisensor Metrology SystemThe SmartScope® E45 floor model multisensor metrology system from Optical Gaging Products is an automatic digital zoom device.
