Cordin Co.'s model 220 CCD camera is capable of interframe times of 10 ns, or 100 million fps. It has up to eight CCD channels that look through a single lens. The cameras provide 782 x 582-pixel resolution, and images are digitized with 8-bit resolution. Microchannel plate intensifiers are coupled to each CCD and produce gain up to 7000 ns. The camera is controlled with Windows-based software, which sets the exposure parameters for each channel. Captured images can be saved in BMP and TIFF formats.
