WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada, April 11, 2012 — Teledyne Dalsa Semiconductor has launched the DH9665A sample and hold precision linear amplifier integrated circuit (IC). Using proprietary high-voltage CMOS/diffusion metal oxide semiconductor technology, it is designed for next-generation, high-density, small-footprint, low-power systems using MEMS or micro-optoelectromechanical systems activation with electrostatic forces. The RoHS-compliant device offers voltage precision of ±20 mV with a linear output range up to 240 V on 96 independently operated sample and hold amplifiers. It is available in either a 17 × 17-mm ball grid array package or as bumped die with a footprint of 0.8 mm2 per channel. Features include four analog high-voltage (HV) outputs that can be programmed simultaneously; 24 selectable groups of four HV outputs (quads); internal closed-loop gain of 79 V/V; power consumption <500 mW; an integrated diode for temperature monitoring; and single-polarity low-voltage power supplies.
